Police are refusing to rule out a link between a stolen car and a vehicle spotted in Dundee city centre around the time a high street store was raided.
Officers urged members of the public to come forward with information after fashion chain Size? was robbed in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
An appeal for details of a blue Audi A3 spotted in the area at the time of the raid was also made.
Now, officers have confirmed they are investigating a possible link between the same car and a blue Audi A3 stolen from a home in Liff.
A police spokesperson confirmed: “We are investigating both incidents and are following all lines of enquiry.
“Police Scotland is appealing for information after two cars were stolen from an address in Liff Park, Liff by Dundee sometime between 11pm on Monday and 2am yesterday morning.
A Sepang Blue Audi S3 registration number HY06 ANN (2015 model) and a Blue Audi A5 saloon registration number PJ56 CON (2013 model) were stolen.
“If anyone has any information in connection with the theft or has seen these vehicles, please contact Police Scotland on 101.”
The Courier revealed on Tuesday that employees believe £4000 worth of designer clothes were stolen during the raid on Size?
