A chance to be among the first 200 visitors to see the three new bears at Camperdown Wildlife Centre sparked an online frenzy,.
All 200 tickets for the special preview event in January were snapped up within 15 minutes.
Camperdown Wildlife Centre posted the offer for the first public viewing of the bears on its website and was immediately inundated with requests for tickets.
The three bears,- Brumm, Maja and Brumma – are 22 month old siblings and arrived at the centre in late November from Kolmarden Zoo in Sweden.
Visitors will be able to see them alongside the centre’s resident female bear, Star, for the first time on January 4.
A Leisure and Culture Dundee spokesman said: “We have been absolutely blown away by the response to the preview.
“We are really excited about introducing the bears to visitors in the New Year and early indications suggest they are going to be incredibly popular.”
The advance preview will run 10am to 12pm on Wednesday, January 4.
The Wildlife Centre will then open slightly later than usual to the general public at 12pm, last admission 2.45pm, where normal admission prices will apply.
