A new Greggs drive-thru is planned for The Stack Retail Park in Dundee.
The bakery chain plans to open an outlet by the entrance to the park on Harefield Road in 2023.
The plot was previously used for a Tesco petrol station which was demolished in 2013 and has been vacant since.
Plans for the new Greggs include indoor and outdoor seating along with 21 parking spaces.
It is proposed the outlet would be open from 7am until 9pm each day.
The plans will be considered by Dundee City Council in the coming months, but an application for a drive-thru outlet on the site was previously approved in 2017.
The Courier has contacted TJ Morris – which owns The Stack Retail Park – for comment on the drive-thru proposals.
A spokesperson for Greggs confirmed plans to open the drive-thru next year, but said no further details could be shared at this stage.
It comes after permission was granted in March to demolish an old Odeon cinema for a new Home Bargains and garden centre at The Stack.
Latest Greggs to arrive in Dundee
The existing Home Bargains store at the park will be vacated, with the budget retailer moving into a bigger unit on the old cinema site.
The park also hosts retailers including Aldi, Smyths and The Range, along with Buzz Bingo.
Greggs opened its newest Dundee branch on Myrekirk Road, next to Asda and Aldi, in April.
The new shop created 15 new jobs.
It makes up part of a larger retail development that will also include a Home Bargains, set to open in August, and a Card Factory.
Elsewhere, construction is under way on a Tim Hortons drive-thru next to Lidl at Kingsway East.
No opening date has yet been confirmed for the Canadian chain’s arrival in the city.
And in the city centre, American giant Taco Bell is eyeing up a unit on Reform Street to open its first Dundee restaurant.
