Broughty Ferry Gala Week has made a comeback following a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
People flocked to Broughty Ferry on Sunday to mark the opening day of the Gala Week.
The event kicked off at Castle Green, and will run until July 10.
Throughout the week, people will be able to visit local food stands, boutique clothing and gift stands, and have the chance to catch live music.
All funds raised from the event go to the Broughty Ferry Traders Association, in order to help them fund events throughout the year for the area.
Our photographer Steve MacDougall was there to capture the best moments of the opening day.
