Two paddleboarders have been rescued after becoming stranded on a sandbank near Dundee.
The Broughty Ferry RNLI and Dundee coastguard teams were alerted shortly after 11.30am on Monday.
The inshore lifeboat was launched and reached the two boarders at Invergowrie Bay a short time later, where the pair were checked over before being rescued by crew members.

A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: “We received an alert at 11.35am on Monday of two paddleboarders in difficulty off the coast.
“Broughty Ferry RNLI crew responded with its inshore boat and reached the two, who were stranded on a sandbank at Invergowrie Bay a short time later.
“The crew, who were assisted by Dundee coastguard, checked the pair over before successfully bringing them back to shore.
“Both were found not to be injured and Broughty Ferry crew stood down at around 1.30pm.”
