Two men were taken to hospital after a disturbance in a Dundee street at the weekend.
Three men have also been arrested following the incident on Aboyne Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
The disturbance, which happened at 2pm on Sunday, resulted in a large police presence on the street.
The two injured men were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment, where their condition is described as stable.
Three men arrested in Aboyne Avenue disturbance
Two of the arrested men, aged 30 and 41, will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The third man, aged 26, will appear at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 2pm on Sunday, officers attended reports of a disturbance in Aboyne Avenue in the Douglas area of Dundee.
“Two men were taken to Ninewells Hospital with injuries sustained during the incident.
“Both are described as in a stable condition.
“Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“Two, aged 41 and 30, are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 2 August.
“The other, aged 26, is expected to appear in court at a later date.”
Residents saw police on Aboyne Avenue throughout the day
Residents spotted multiple police vehicles on the street throughout the day, and a police cordon was in place well into the evening.
One local said: “I saw lots of the police on the street before I went out.
“That was just before 4pm.
“I was actually about to go cycling but I decided not to because of what was going on.
“I don’t know what it was but there was a lot of police.”
