Robbers have stolen £2000 worth of batteries from a Dundee business. Hewden Plant Hire was raided over the weekend by thieves who stole 19 12 volt batteries. Police say the compound, located on the city’s Old Glamis Road, was targeted between 4pm on Friday and 7:30am on Monday. Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number CR/2651/17 or any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
