A collision involving an SUV and a car caused delays amid school-run traffic on a Dundee road.
Emergency services rushed to Balgowan Avenue at around 3.30pm and although one person was taken to hospital,no serious injuries were reported.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland was in attendance at Balgowan Avenue following a report of a road traffic collision involving a Land Rover Discovery and a car that happened at about 3.15pm this afternoon.”
Motorist Alan Bryson-Sword, who passed the scene of the incident, said it was “chaotic”.
He added: “I saw two fire engines, an ambulance and police. The road was closed off it was quite chaotic as at the time the kids were coming out of school.”
