A large crowd gathered on a Dundee street as part of a protest.
Dozens of people stood outside a block of flats on Ballindean Road in Douglas.
Reports from the scene said some have been shouting and chanting over the presence of one of the residents.
Eyewitnesses claimed more than a hundred people were in attendance.
Some in the crowd used megaphones to chant, with others throwing eggs at the property.
Police were in attendance and the road was closed off.
Crowd ‘shouting and chanting’
One onlooker said: “People are in the middle of the road and all over the pavement.
“They are shouting and chanting. It’s really loud and it’s really quite scary.
“It looks like things are beginning to turn nasty. There’s loads of police now.
“Some are at the house, others are standing around trying to control the crowd.”

Another added: “The road was closed on both ends so I had to park somewhere else.
“I could hear the shouting from a couple of streets away.
“People were throwing up eggs and trying to hit the person’s window – they were cheering too.
“There were loads of people there, it was really busy.”
A Ballindean Road resident was drawn into the crowd after spotting the scene from his home.
He said: “I saw everyone out my window and thought I’d come along for a look.
“It’s pretty mental.
“There’s loads of people here.
“I’m not sure exactly who it is they’re going for.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance at Ballindean Road in Dundee after a large gathering outside a property.”
It comes after a protest took place outside the home of a paedophile in St Mary’s on Saturday.
