Police are appealing for help in tracing an on-the-run prisoner. James John Boyle absconded from Castle Huntly Prison while on a period of home leave. Boyle, 24, was reported missing at 3.40pm on Wednesday. It is believed the prisoner travelled to Clydebank, but could now be in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow. Boyle is described as being five ft eight tall, of medium build, clean shaven with short brown hair. Officers say, if seen, members of the public should not approach Boyle and should instead contact Police Scotland on 101.
