The bosses of Brook Street’s Forgan’s restaurant have submitted proposals to turn a currently vacant high street unit into a deli and cafe.
If planning permission is granted, it’s hoped the development “will allow greater interaction with Brook Street, improving the overall pedestrian experience of the high street”.
If permission is granted, the current shell unit, located at 234 Brook Street, will be transformed.
Restaurant bosses believe the completed facility will “deliver back into use an important part of the high street”.
