Police are investigating the sudden death of a teenage girl in Dundee.
Officers have been in attendance at a property on Morgan Place since Saturday morning.
Distressed neighbours have described how they looked on in horror as paramedics tried to resuscitate the girl both outside her home and in an ambulance.
It is understood the girl is Polish and had lived at the address with her parents and siblings.
One police vehicle is currently still in the area and an officer remains outside the door of her first floor home.
They say the death is being treated as unexplained.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 9.30am on Saturday police received a report of the sudden death of a teenage girl at a property in the Morgan Place area of Dundee.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, pending further enquiries.”
Tragic
One neighbour said: “This is tragic. I saw the paramedics carrying out CPR on the girl in the street outside.
“They then carried on for a few minutes inside the ambulance.
“I was told she had passed away. It’s so sad she was just a young girl.
“She and her family are lovely. I say hello to them and the young girl who died was friendly with my grand-daughter.”
Another neighbour added: “The police and ambulance arrived on Saturday morning.
