A man has been injured after being knocked down by a car in Dundee’s West Marketgait on Wednesday morning.
The man was hit by a Black Seat 500, the windscreen of which was damaged in the collision.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said the man was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital.

A man who works in a shop nearby said: “I didn’t see what happened at first as I was serving some customers but then I notice the police out of the corner of my eye.
“I turned around and I noticed there were four or five police cars on the scene and then an ambulance appeared.”
The incident occurred around 9am and at 10am, there were still two police cars at the scene.
