Nearly 2,000 people have gathered at the Caird Hall to celebrate Dundee and Angus College’s 2022 graduations.
More than 400 students were cheered on by family and friends at the event on Friday – the first without any restrictions since the pandemic.
The students and guests were treated to a special address by Outlander actor Mark Rannoch, himself a former Dundee College student.
Simon Hewitt, Dundee and Angus College principal, also praised the resilience of the students during what he described as an ” incredibly difficult” period.
Celebration after ‘incredibly difficult time’
Speaking ahead of the graduations, he said: “The last few years have been an incredibly difficult time for everyone, with our students suffering significant disruption to their lives and learning.
“I am so proud of the resilience and determination they have shown to complete their studies and today is about recognising that success.”
Our photographer Mhairi Edwards was there to capture the best moments.
