Ghosts, vampires and monsters have been let loose around Dundee Science Centre as it hosts a weekend of events to celebrate Halloween.
Those looking to celebrate in spooktacular style can make potions and enjoy some trick or treating.
People can also watch vampires turn water into “blood”, capture a ghost in a dry ice bubble and help fix Frankenstein’s monster with a Van de Graaf generator.
For the younger visitors, there is a story time in the Midnight Garden complete with clacking bones and a cauldron.
There is also a change to help Halloween-themed bears in the teddy bear’s hospital and enjoy crafting activities like mask mask making and creating a trick or treat bag.
In traditional Halloween style, people are invited to dress up and enter the costume competition with prizes for the best dressed.
The events run on both Saturday and Sunday with three sessions available, 9am-11.30am, 12pm-2.30pm or 3pm-5.30pm.
Tickets are available online, people are asked to book in advance.
Some of the science centre’s team started the weekend off at the Overgate on Saturday afternoon and showcased a range of Halloween experiments.
Our photographer Kenny Smith went along to the science centre to capture some of the action.
