Dundee city centre’s Royal Bank of Scotland branch will offer a limited service after encountering a system issue which is expected to last until “at least Friday”.
Staff informed customers on Wednesday afternoon that an internal banking server had encountered issues and shut down.
It’s understood the issue means bank tellers have limited access to customer information.
Automated cash withdrawals and deposits can however still be made.
The High Street branch is the only RBS outlet affected.
A spokesman for the bank said the impacted server is not expected to be back up and running until Friday at the earliest.
