A man’s body found on the outskirts of Dundee has been identified by police.
The body was found at a footpath near Rosemill Road in Bridgefoot at 8am on Tuesday.
Police had appealed for information from the public to help to identify him.
Today, they confirmed an identification had been made. The man’s name has not been made public.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man found at a footpath near to Rosemill Road, Bridgefoot by Dundee on Tuesday March 14 has now been identified.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and as with all sudden deaths a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
