Dundee University’s winter graduations were held on Thursday and Friday, with students braving the wind and rain to celebrate the end of their university education.
Graduates received their degrees at two ceremonies held at the Caird Hall.
Among the 2,500 graduates was mum-to-be Martha Umeh Ude-Eze, whose third baby is due in just one week.
The 31-year-old said there was “no chance” she would miss her graduation, despite the imminent arrival.
Also graduating was Sophie Carney, who has been studying crime writing and forensic investigation.
She who plans to use her new knowledge to become a police detective.
Commonwealth Games star Eilish McColgan received an honorary degree, along with Witches of Scotland campaigners Claire Mitchell KC and Zoe Venditozzi.
Our photographers Paul Reid and Steve MacDougall went along to photograph the happy day.
