An 80-year-old woman was left with “serious facial injuries” after a late-night robbery in Dundee on Saturday.
The 80-year-old was pushed to the ground before her handbag was stolen.
Police say a three-figure sum of cash was also taken during the robbery.
The incident took place between 10.20pm and 10.50pm on the junction of Lilybank Road and Lilybank Terrace.
The pensioner was taken to Ninewells hospital where she received treatment for her injuries.
Police appeal
Detectives investigating the incident say they want to speak to two male youths in their late teens who were seen running towards Broughty Ferry wearing dark clothing.

Detective Sergeant Craig Kelly said: “This lady was robbed and left not only seriously injured but distraught by what happened.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who knows who the youths are and where they might be.
“If you can help please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 3871 of Saturday November 26 or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
