Police closed part of a busy Dundee road on Sunday afternoon after a car flipped onto its roof.
Greendykes Road was closed to vehicles for a period following a two car collision, which occurred around midday, leaving a blue Volkswagen Polo on its roof.
The female driver of the Polo was removed from her vehicle before being transported to hospital with a “sore neck”.
A recovery vehicle later attended and removed both vehicles involved in the crash.
Both the Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland attended the incident.
A police spokesman confirmed: “The female passenger was removed from her vehicle, conscious and saying she had a sore neck.
“The passenger was taken on to hospital.
“We’re currently waiting for a recovery vehicle to attend and remove both vehicles.”
