Pedestrians had to leap to safety after a car mounted the pavement in a terrifying incident in Dundee last night. Police say a Ford Focus was seen being driven erratically in the Nethergate in the lead-up to the incident. It is believed the car mounted the pavement near Mecca Bingo and was then involved in collisions in Black Street and Duncarse Road. The incident happened shortly before 7pm. Police confirmed a 35-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy have been charged in connection with the incident and are expected to appear in court today.
