Three men have been arrested after four people were injured in a block of flats in Dundee.
Three men and one woman were found in the close of the flats on Happyhillock Road at around 10pm on Tuesday.
The men were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment and have since been discharged. The woman did not require hospital treatment.
Three men, aged 32, 33 and 44, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
It is understood they are the same men who were taken to hospital.
Police and ambulance presence at Happyhillock Road
Residents living in the area described seeing police activity late on Tuesday night.
One resident, who did not wish to be named, said: “There were two police cars, a police van and an ambulance on Tuesday.
“It must have been around 10pm.”
Another said: “I came home about 11pm and saw there were two police cars there.
“I don’t know what happened though, I keep to myself so I haven’t heard anything.”
One resident said police were still on the scene early on Wednesday.
They added: “I saw there was police tape cordoning off an area when I left my flat this morning but I have no idea what happened.”
Inquiries are ongoing
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10 pm on Tuesday, police were called to a disturbance the common close of a flats on Happyhillock Road, Dundee, where four people, three men and a woman, had been found injured.
“The three men were treated at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and have since been discharged. The woman did not require hospital treatment.
“Three men, aged 32, 33 and 44 years have been arrested following the incident and inquiries are ongoing.”
