A man and a woman have been charged after a five-year-old boy was attacked by two dogs in a Dundee home.
The attack happened at an address on Gourdie Terrace in the Charleston area of the city on November 11.
The boy was treated in Ninewells Hospital.
Police have now confirmed a man and woman will appear in court in connection with the incident.
At the time, officers confirmed two dogs were removed from the house but said there was “no risk to the wider public”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following a report of a five-year-old boy being attacked by two dogs within a property on Gourdie Terrace, Dundee, around 2.15pm on Friday November 11, we can confirm that a man and a woman have been charged in connection with the incident and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
When asked if the dogs have been destroyed, police said it is a matter for the procurator fiscal.
