Daring Broughty Ferry dookers have welcomed in the New Year with a dip in the chilly waters of the Tay.
The annual New Year’s Day plunge took place at mid-day on Sunday, with locals braving near freezing temperatures donned in colourful swimwear.
The tradition dates back over 130 years.
Many took the opportunity to raise cash for Broughty Ferry RNLI, with around £4,000 raised ahead of the event.
The lifesavers were also on hand at the dook to make sure those taking part were safe, while some of the volunteers braved the waters themselves.
