A 68-year-old man has been charged following a nine-hour stand-off with police at a house in Dundee.
Police were called to a property in Clement Park Place shortly after 3pm on Wednesday following an alert from a member of the public.
A large police presence, which included some officers with riot equipment, remained at the scene for over nine hours.
Several police vehicles, including an incident support unit, and an ambulance were also at the scene.
A police spokesperson confirmed a man has been charged in connection with what they called a “disturbance”.

One resident, who asked not to be named, said: “I’ve been taken aback by what’s been going on.
“There has been a large police presence here from early on Wednesday evening.”
She added: “There were riot police inside the close and uniformed officers were stationed both at the front and back of the address.”
Another onlooker told The Courier: “There were police vehicles scattered around Clement Park Place, near the junction with Wiston Place, at around 11.30pm.
“Uniformed officers were at several locations.”
He added: “The riot police appeared to be clustered around the entrance of the close as they were liaising with other uniformed officers.
“An ambulance incident response van arrived shortly before midnight, at that point there was still a large police presence.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.10pm we received a report of a disturbance at Clement Park Place in Dundee.
“A 68-year-old man has been charged.
“He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.”
