Police Scotland do not believe a Glasgow robbery where masked crooks cut CCTV and robbed an elderly woman is linked to similar crimes in Dundee and Kirkaldy.
Though the raid was disrupted by the elderly householder’s family, £4500 in cash was stolen.
Like last month’s Dundee robbery, the thugs cut the property’s CCTV and forced their way in through a patio door.
Despite the similarities, a Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “At this time police are not linking these crimes.”
Dundee victim Aisha, said the thefts sound similar, stating: “I think that it could be the same people that have carried out these burglaries. We haven’t had any new information about catching the people that stole from us so they are still out there.”
