Police have traced an on-the-run prisoner who failed to return from home leave. Frederick Boyd, 54, absconded from Castle Huntly prison after being granted leave to attend an address in Glasgow. Boyd was reported missing on Tuesday evening after failing to return from his period of leave. Officers have however now confirmed that the 54-year-old has been traced. A police spokesperson thanked the public for their support.
