A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged ram-raid at a Broughty Ferry shop.
The incident took place at the Premier store on Claypotts Road just before 5am on January 18.
The front of the shop was left with significant damage.
The man is due to appear in court on Thursday and the police investigation is continuing.
Sergeant Lee Bain of Dundee community investigation unit said: “This type of crime was a shock to the local community.
“Acquisitive crime in Tayside will not be tolerated and Police Scotland will ensure every opportunity is taken to identify and arrest offenders committing these crimes.”
