Residents at a block of flats in Dundee were forced to evacuate after a fire.
Emergency services were called to Paterson Street just before 11am on Tuesday.
A section of the street on the Hilltown was cordoned off as three fire engines attended the scene.
Neighbours within the block said firefighters evacuated some of the tenants during the incident.
An ambulance was also at the scene but it is understood no one suffered any injuries.
Residents told to leave homes
Paterson Street resident Angie Latto was one of those evacuated.
She told The Courier: “The first thing I knew about it was a firefighter was [asking] me if I was OK.
“There had been a fire at another address, and I was told I had to go.
“I never smelt any smoke in the block until I came outside.
“It was like the smell after a bonfire.
“Thankfully everyone appears to be OK.”
One man said: “When I arrived there was three fire engines and police in attendance.
“The residents thankfully all appeared to be outside, they’ve just been let back in during the last 10 minutes.
“The police have stood down from the scene and firefighters are just tidying up just now.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.58am on Tuesday to reports of a building fire.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to Paterson Street, where firefighters were met by a fire within a block of flats.
“Crews extinguished the fire and worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene at 12.30pm.
“There were no casualties.”
