Female pedestrian taken to hospital after being hit by car in Dundee

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Dundee.

The incident took place on Milton of Craigie Road North on Saturday night.

The female was a pedestrian and was hit near the road’s junction with Longtown Road.

She was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses say the road was also closed for a short period of time while emergency services responded to the incident.

It is not known how serious her injuries are.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on Milton of Craigie Road North, Dundee, around 9pm on Saturday.

“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.”
