Food for thought: Dundee restaurant offering free grub to young voters
ByJake Keith
A Dundee restaurant is offering free food to youngsters who can prove they have registered to vote in the upcoming general election.
Up until May 22, Wee Mexico on the Nethergate, will give away a free taco to anyone aged between 18 and 24 who shows proof of registration, in order to encourage youths to vote, after only half of young people voted in the last election.
The restaurant posted online: “Whatever your age or circumstances we all know that young people will be enormously effected by the results of the upcoming general election.
“It literally takes 30 seconds to register so visit the link below and have a say in your own future and also get a free taco in the process.”
