A high-speed private US jet caused a stir amongst plane spotters in Dundee after turning up at the city’s airport.
The California-registered Bombardier Global Express plane has been catching the eyes of many after taking up residence at Dundee Airport this week.
The aircraft, a long-range business jet, is believed to be owned by a firm based in Novato, California.
It is thought it is being used privately by a regular visitor with a property in Scotland.
The aircraft is an original Global Express model and cruises at speeds of up to 505 knots (580mph).
It flew out from Dundee Airport earlier today.
The aircraft has two sister models, the Global 5000 and 6000; which are two of the fastest business jets in the world. All models can fly huge distances at high speeds without refuelling.
It is not the first time a flashy aircraft has taken up residence at the Tayside terminal, after jets worth £260million arrived in Dundee ahead of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in October 2015.
At one point there were 13 of them lined up at Dundee Airport as VIPs descended on the region.
