The City of Dundee has offered its support to Manchester after a packed music venue was targeted by a suicide bomber last night.
Twenty-two people were killed and a further 59 injured in the terror attack at an Ariana Grande gig in Manchester Arena.
Police were called to the venue following reports of an explosion at 10.33pm, shortly after the US singer had finished her performance.

And Dundee’s Lord Provost, Ian Borthwick, has said the city is on hand to offer any support the people of Manchester may need.
The flag’s above Caird Hall are flying at half mast today.
He has written to the English city’s mayor, Labour’s Andy Burnham.
Independent councillor Mr Borthwick added: “On behalf of the people of the City of Dundee, I have written to the Mayor of Greater Manchester to express our condolences to the families of those who were tragically killed and our sympathies to those who were injured in yesterday evening’s dreadful act of terrorism.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with them and all others who were touched by this tragedy.
“I have also offered the support of the City of Dundee to the agencies in Manchester in the response to these awful events.”
