Dundee City Square fell silent at 11am as hundreds of people remembered the victims of Monday night’s Manchester bombing.
Lord Provost Ian Borthwick, administration leader John Alexander and councillors from all parties stood on the steps of the Caird Hall to observe the minute’s silence.
After the period or reflection, Imam Hamza from Dundee Central Mosque addressed the crowd with an appeal for unity.
