Firefighters have been called to a Dundee shopping centre. Three crews, two from Kingsway East and one from Macalpine Road, were sent to the Wellgate at 4.15pm. Firefighters at the Wellgate. A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “A fire alarm was activated. Three appliances were sent, two from Kingsway East and McAlpine Road.” The incident transpired to be a false alarm caused by a “system failure” at the shopping centre.
