Cyclist taken to hospital after swerving away from car

An ambulance has taken a cyclist to hospital after they crashed swerving to avoid a collision with a car in Perthshire.

Police were called to an incident on an un-named road just past the Aberdalgie and Forteviot Parish church just after 5pm on Thursday evening.

It is understood the cyclist was injured after taking evasive action to avoid a car.

The cyclist’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
