Police closed off a section of a street near Dundee city centre on Sunday due to “concern for a person”.
Eyewitnesses report seeing a large number of officers, as well as four police vehicles and a dog unit, on Princes Street at around 5.45pm.
One onlooker said: “There were four police cars around one area of Princes Street where it meets Crescent Street and police tape in the garden of a building.
“One of the police vehicles was a dogs unit.
“The road was closed at both ends and buses were queuing at the Albert Street end due to the road closure.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that officers were attending due to “concern for a person” but did not elaborate further.
