A Dundee grandad who died in an early morning street incident in the city last month will be laid to rest next week.
The body of Gary McMillan, 44, was found in Lawton Terrace on May 16, sparking a major police investigation.
A 31-year-old man has since appeared in court charged with his murder.
Mr McMillan was described as an “all round good guy” in the many tributes which were made following his death.
His funeral will take place at Dundee Congregational Church in Constitution Road on Monday at 9.30am, following which Mr McMillan will be laid to rest at Balgay cemetery.
A funeral collection will go to mental health and Dundee Carers Centre.
Arran Fender subsequently appeared at Dundee sheriff court and made no plea or declaration to a charge of murdering Mr McMillan by repeatedly striking him on the body with a knife or similar instrument.
