A cyclist has been involved in a collision with a car outside Clepington Primary school. Police are currently in attendance on Catherine Street, after a cyclist was reportedly involved in an incident with a car, shortly after 9am. An ambulance is currently on its way to the scene, and the condition of the cyclist is as yet unknown. James Pryce, a heavy goods driver, passed the scene on his way back to his yard just after 9am. He said: “I could see someone on the ground, covered in what looked like a high visibility jacket. “The person was on the ground, right on the corner of the road where Catherine Street meets Stobswell Road. “I could only see the one police car and a bit of a crowd was gathered, but standing slightly back from the scene. “I hope the person is ok.” More to follow.
