The stage which will host one of the world’s most popular girl groups this Thursday is shooting up on the Dundee waterfront.
Little Mix will take to Slessor Gardens later this week, with some 11,000 fans expected to make the journey to the city for the highly-anticipated gig.
It will be only the second concert to take place at the venue, and is in line to give the city centre a huge economic boost.
Today workers have been braving horrendous conditions to set up the stage in time for Thursday’s big event, with heavy rain and strong wind affecting Slessor Gardens.
The dire weather looks likely to continue into the gig itself, however Dundee City Council’s city centre manager, Sarah Craig, said the show will go on.
She advised music fans to dress appropriately for the conditions.
