A man was rescued from the River Tay on Wednesday night.
RNLI crews were alerted to a male on a wall near Discovery Quay just after 9pm.
Both Broughty Ferry lifeboats were launched around 9.15pm and were quickly on scene.
He entered the water after the lifeboats arrived but was quickly rescued by the inshore lifeboat crew just before 10pm.
He was transferred on to the larger all-weather lifeboat where he was assessed and found not to be requiring medical attention.
The man was then returned to Broughty Ferry lifeboat station where he was then transferred into the care of a waiting ambulance crew and the police around 10.10pm.
Both lifeboats were then stood down and made ready for any further calls.
