The build up to Olly Murs’ Dundee gig has begun, with Tayside police stirring up some excitement.
The former X-Factor star will take to Slessor Gardens on Thursday, July 20 in what will be only the third show to take place at the new city venue.
The Tayside Police Division posted a cryptic message about the forthcoming gig on their Facebook page.
Though at first many of their words appeared nonsensical, the post contained a hidden message.
The force said: “And so, in Dundee’s summer of music, we’ve had UB40, then Little Mix – now it’s time for some chap that did well in a talent show a few years ago.
“Obviously, Looks Like You Might Ultimately Require Some New Entertainment. eXtra Testing With Every Event Kept A Totally Superb Lineup Expecting Some Splendid Outdoor Revelling Going. Also, Really Delivering Exceptional New Sounds.
“We ‘ll keep you posted.”
On closer inspection, the second paragraph spells out “Olly Murs next week at Slessor Gardens”.

The Slessor Gardens gig follows on from hugely successful performances by UB40 and Little Mix, both of which attracted thousands of music fans to the city.
