Firefighters were called to a blaze at a Dundee high rise on Thursday. Five fire crews descended on Adamson Court, Lochee, after the incident broke out on the ninth floor of the 15-storey building at noon. Two appliances and a height vehicle were sent from Blackness Road, along with two further teams from the Kingsway. Rescuers used four breathing apparatus to bring the blaze, described as “small”, under control. A fire and rescue spokesman said: “There was a small fire in a property there. The call came in at 12.10pm. We sent four pumps and a height vehicle. “The stop message came back at 12.55pm. It was a small fire in the property.” Nobody was injured during the incident.
