The major act due to play Dundee’s Caird Hall next month has been announced.
The Stereophonics will play in the venue on Tuesday, August 22.
Staff at the Caird Hall took to Twitter last night to announce they would be hosting a “major concert” in just a matter of weeks.

The identity of the act was kept under wraps, leading to a huge amount of speculation about who would play the venue.

The Welsh rock band announced their new album, Scream Above the Sounds, earlier today. It will be released on November 3.
Stereophonics will play with special guests at the hall.
The band were formed in Wales in 1992 and are the eighth group to manage five consecutive UK number one albums.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, August 1 from 9am at Dundee City Box Office. There is a maximum of four tickets per person.
