Cruise ship passengers have been stranded after their arrival in Dundee due to traffic chaos at City Quay.
Long queues of traffic are stretching out from the docks area all the way up the A991, with taxis accused of ignoring calls because of the difficulty of getting in and out of the area.
Some passengers, who have just arrived in the city, are said to have been waiting for a taxi for over an hour.
One eyewitness said: “It’s a nightmare.
“There are taxis in the rank but are ignoring calls because it takes so long.
“There’s no separate queues for taxis so they have to queue with other traffic.
“People have been waiting on the quay for more than an hour.”
