The stage is now set for Dundee’s biggest music event in a decade, with the city’s Camperdown Park transformed into a festival site.
Carnival 56 will kick off on Saturday and run until Sunday with acts including Mark Ronson, The Charlatans, Rudimental, The Fratellis and The Kyle Falconer Band.
The event is Scotland’s newest music festival and the first one in Dundee since Radio 1’s Big Weekend 11 years ago.
Carnival 56 runs from Saturday, August 12 until Sunday, August 13.
We spoke to festival event manager Craig Blyth and Dundee area commander, Chief Inspector Nicola Russell, at the site today.
