Thousands are expected to attend Carnival 56 in the city’s Camperdown Park today and tomorrow. Acts include Mark Ronson, The Charlatans, Rudimental, The Fratellis and The Kyle Falconer Band. The event is Scotland’s newest music festival and the first one in Dundee since Radio 1’s Big Weekend 11 years ago. Fans have been told the gates to the festival will not open until noon today, having previously been told entry would be at 11am.
