Plans for a new multi-million pound sports performance centre to be built in Caird Park were approved on Monday by the city council.
The Regional Performance Centre for Sport (RPCS), which will provide training facilities for elite sport coaching as well as space for local clubs and groups, was approved by councillors at a meeting of the development management committee.
Administration leader Councillor John Alexander said the development’s approval was a “genuine benefit” for Dundee, showing off the city’s ambition.
