There was excitement in Inchture when a hot air balloon landed in a nearby field, with around 30 people gathering to watch its descent.
“Excited” kids from nearby houses were allowed to go into the basket after the landing, which happened at around 8pm.
Sean Mulholland, a rapper/producer in local band Vindicam Sound, said: “Groups of locals started running towards the end of Priory Grange, excited to see a Virgin balloon landing nearby.
“Maybe 30 folk turned up to watch its descent. Many kids then ran over through the field in awe at such a large balloon.
“A few minutes went by and the owners of the balloon turned up to assist.
“It appears the Jeep could not gain access to the field so it’s been packed up here for the night. I imagine they will collect it tomorrow.
“It turned out to be a great spectacle for the locals and the kids.
“I’m sure everybody is aware of the balloon but not many get to see it so close like that.”
