An historic Broughty Ferry pub has submitted plans to scrap a serving area at the rear of the bar and install a new female toilet.
The owners of The Fisherman’s Tavern in Fort Street also want to create a new bar and gantry at the front of the pub.
Plans were submitted to Dundee City Council this week.
The pub’s dining area and dozen bedrooms would not be affected by any of the proposed alterations although the interior of the pub will be redecorated.
Owned by brewers Belhaven – Greene King, The Fisherman’s Tavern opened in 1827.
